Google

Gary led the Agile Transformation for the Google Customer product/technology organization (150+ people) that build the internal tools to enable Customer Support Agents to diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues. Working with Gary has been my best experience with an Agile coach in my professional career. We achieved Gary’s vision of reducing lead time from 6-9 months to 4-6 weeks. I would highly recommend him to any other organizations looking to go through either a complete agile transformation, or even just up-leveling their current Agile ways of working.

I have worked with Gary in three different companies throughout my career and can truly say that he is by far the best Agile practitioner with whom I’ve had a pleasure to partner and collaborate. He is impactful at all levels–from executive stakeholders to his direct teams, cross-functional partners, and customers. He’s built solid, large-scale agile practices that deliver results with a high level of velocity and promote a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration. To top that off, he has an extensive technical and product expertise and experience in several different industries. I’d work with Gary again in a heartbeat.

I worked with Gary closely as our 100+ engineering organization went through an agile transition. Gary kickstarted the team’s agile transformation and implemented a phased rollout with our teams. The support Gary provided was instrumental in the success of the changes. Gary provided team level training, created forums for discussion, worked tirelessly with leadership to tackle structural issues that were barriers, and spent a considerable amount of effort to share his insights for individual teams/leaders. Working with Gary was a pleasure and he always approaches the team with a great deal of respect while also sharing his knowledge and experience. I would recommend any organization considering a difficult agile transition to consider reaching out to Gary to see how he might be able to help.
