      In honor of the Agile 2024 conference, here are my tips on how to network effectively at in person events.

      1. Prepare an Elevator Pitch: Have a clear, concise elevator pitch ready. It doesn’t need to be memorized, but should guide your conversations. Focus on what you want to achieve and succinctly describe who you are in 60 to 90 seconds.

      2. Do Your Research: Before the event, research key areas and people to target. Know who will be there and identify the individuals or groups that align with your goals.

      3. Engage and Follow Up: Engage genuinely with people you meet and collect their contact information. Follow up after the event to reinforce connections and explore potential opportunities.
