Overview: As the Sourcing Strategy & Execution Manager IV for USTECH Solutions, consulting with Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, I lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier partnerships to optimize clinical research operations. My role centers on crafting competitive outsourcing agreements that align with Otsuka’s research and development (R&D) objectives and compliance standards. I collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to establish service excellence, leveraging industry best practices in agile contract management to meet business needs and drive cost efficiencies.

Outsourcing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to assess the supplier landscape and develop sourcing strategies tailored to specific R&D categories. Identify optimal suppliers to support business objectives, ensuring alignment with sourcing and procurement best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders to align procurement efforts with Otsuka’s goals, maintaining high service levels and ensuring procurement activities reflect business needs.

Contract Management: Oversee all aspects of the contract lifecycle, including negotiation and implementation of commercial terms, work specifications, budgets, and payment schedules. Facilitate contract execution, ensure adherence to R&D sourcing strategies, and monitor compliance with established agreements.

Vendor Selection and Evaluation: Guide project teams through the vendor selection process, employing effective bidding and RFX methodologies to evaluate potential suppliers. Conduct vendor capability presentations and facilitate competitive evaluations to support informed decision-making.
