Provided leadership, vision, and guidance for the Development and Product teams as one of the principals in carving out Assurance Software (later rebranded to Castellan Solutions) from Sungard Availability Services to a thriving, independent software company and through multiple subsequent acquisitions of external companies.

Drove the development and adoption of an automated testing-first QA strategy providing immediate feedback loops that led to fewer escaped defects and long term growth in feature velocity and deliver of customer value.

Integrated multiple acquisitions based in the US and UK into a shared culture with standardized agile development practices.

Scaled our agile development practices across three products and to teams distributed across the US and UK. Maintained and nurtured a culture of continuous improvement, team empowerment, and a dedication to producing valuable software to our customers.

Achieved our first ISO-27001 certification and directed the formation and operation of our Data Privacy Office to ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and information security best practices.

Led the development of the Next Generation of Business Continuity Planning Software, Assurance CM, which has been recognized as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Business Continuity Planning solutions and received industry awards from organizations such as BCI.
