Consistency is the secret ingredient to success!

Athletes are vivid examples – those that are at the peak of their game are not consistently great: instead, they are great at being consistent (yes, it’s true – read that again).

Being consistent is most evident in selfcare –

Which is better working out for 5 hours in one day a week?

Or, just 30 minutes everyday 7 days a week?

Seth says – “Persistent, gentle pressure almost always outperforms sudden, violent blows”.

Yes, Consistency is the secret ingredient to success!

I chose to invest 30 minutes in my selfcare 7 days a week in January 2021.

I don’t need to make that choice ever again; I already made that choice just once.

Just one choice which already has and will help me succeed everyday in my selfcare.

Now it’s well over 1000+ consecutive days, this consistent investment has paid dividends many times over.

I chose to fill my cup daily; so that, I can pour into my family, my team, and our community everyday.

As you are enjoying this holiday season and before 2023 is done, choose to hit Pause –

take a moment to plan for the new year, choose to prioritize and invest in your selfcare everyday to fill your cup.

        Selfcare is a choice!

In the 2024 new year choose to prioritize and invest in yourself just 30 minutes to fill your cup everyday; so that, you too can pour into those in your care!

        Ask yourself –

        Am I worth it?

        Is my family worth it?

Yes, you have a choice – which will you choose?

        The clamp and the mallet

While building a project, I found that a key part was stuck. I tapped it with a mallet, then harder, and eventually whacked at it. No luck. Then I got smart and put three clamps around the part, ge…
