Dear community,
Happy Friday. In my conversations, I came across a couple of points I want to highlight here:
1) I believe some members here are from non-IT backgrounds trying to make a transition. I would suggest spending time and learning about what agile is and the difference between agile and named frameworks. Also, try to understand the general IT ecosystem and terminologies, which will help you in conversations with recruiters and interviewers.
2) As @stephcully mentioned in her post, be deliberate about where you apply, and don’t just send applications to anyone and everyone. Many scammers are out there waiting for your personal and professional information, and they will add to your misery. Be cautious. I have a Youtube video that came on my feed, I can’t figure out how to post the link here, but I will figure it out with @Graham
3) Resume review—Invest in a good resume review service or consultancy with a good record. Mentors here can give you feedback, but that’s not our day-to-day job. Do we have any members who have been hiring managers and can help provide feedback to members?
4) Will AI take my job? I subscribe to a newsletter that provides insights on this. So, fear not and invest in continuous learning. There are MANY free resources to learn about AI.
Do you have any specific questions that we can help address beyond these?

yep, AI is here to stay!
One can either embrace it and level up their skills;
or, resist the change and become irrelevant.
Isn’t being agile all about how quickly we can adapt to change 🤔3
